Johnstone’s Paints is the sponsor of the Football League Trophy for League 1 and 2 clubs.
 
Electric was set the challenge of creating a campaign name and design style for a competition for fans to vote for the best goal of the round.
 
Items produced included an information postcard, posters and a bespoke counter-top display unit to promote the competition in the Johnstone’s Decorating Centres nationwide.
 
Ensuring the print quality was consistent across all of the items and co-ordinating delivery to the mailing house so store POS packs could be collated and despatched ready for the launch date were key.

Research with stockists highlighted that the packaging for the Johnstone’s Woodcare range was in need of an update.

Electric designed the new packaging and produced artwork for 18 packs initially, working closely with the repro team to ensure the design was produced to create maximum impact.

With woodcare being a confusing category to shop, we had to ensure that pack information was as clear as possible for the consumer.
